One of the most popular Korean dramas in Asia recently is ‘Empress Ki’(奇皇后). This Korean historical drama is set in Yuan Dynasty, which was rarely seen before. So to Korean audiences, it’s very interesting and refreshing because they can learn a lot about the history and culture of the Yuan Dynasty of China. And I think this is also one of the reasons why many Chinese audiences love it so much.
Besides one of Korea’s top versatile actresses Ha Ji-won, and veteran actor Joo Jin-mo, the new generation actor Ji Chang-wook (지창욱/池昌旭) who played ‘Ta Hwan’ or the later Emperor Huizong also had excellent performances in the drama.
Our celebrity guest today is Ji Chang-wook, hot young actor who is more handsome and charming in person than on-screen.
